This Privacy Policy applies to the Understand Scoring website ("Site"), which provides training and test material used to support state assessments. Collection and Use of Information This Site is not designed for the collection of information. To the extent you provide Pearson with information during the course of an inquiry, we may collect such information in order to respond to the inquiry. We may also share this information with the State Department of Education for the state to which this Site relates. Users of this Site may send comments, inquiries, or request support in using this Site by completing the
Pearson Customer Support Form. We request that these forms include the following information: name and school district email address, school district name, computer operating system and browser, and a description of the question or support needed. We collect and use this information to respond to the inquiry and provide support, to maintain our support records, and to evaluate and improve this website and our services.
Certain Educator intended features of this Site requires the user to create an account using their email address in order to access these features and may also collect educator first name and last name. The Site will use the email address to send user information or notifications. We may also share the user's email address, first name, and last name with the State Department of Education for the state to which this Site relates.
